Cleanara is a smart-first Windows service: it watches storage and acts during a quiet moment only when maintenance becomes relevant.

Download and run the installer.

Cleanara can check for new versions automatically. Official installers are signed by INS PROD with Microsoft Azure Artifact Signing, but downloading and starting the installation remain manual actions.

SmartScreen: a new release may still trigger a reputation warning. First verify the INS PROD digital signature and the cleanara.fr origin; a reputation warning alone does not mean that its Authenticode signature is invalid.
Privacy: no Cleanara telemetry; optional Web Indexing is documented in the policy.
